Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client shipping lines and make strategic decisions on shipping routes.
- Develop and implement intermodal projects, including barge and train operations, to reduce costs and enhance local value.
- Collaborate with local industries to identify and attract cargo opportunities.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including vehicle stripping and logistics.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of shipping and logistics processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Experience in container shipping, trucking, and reefer containers.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics and the ability to identify new opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Travel Requirements:
- All travel is local.
