Company Summary: A leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving global healthcare and transforming lives are expanding their operations and looking for motivated Clinical Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Germany. You will be responsible for overseeing managing E2E supply chain activities related to clinical trials, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) to clinical sites. You will play an integral role in support our cutting-edge research and development initiatives.
The Clinical Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical supply chain management, aligned with clinical trial objectives and corporate goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee forecasting, planning, and demand management for investigational medicinal products to meet study requirements and avoid supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations teams to understand trial protocols and design optimal supply strategies, considering patient enrolment, dosage, and trial timelines.
- Coordinate packaging, labelling, and distribution of clinical trial supplies, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Establish strong relationships with external vendors and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to ensure seamless supply chain coordination.
- Manage the budget and cost-effectively optimize the clinical supply chain process while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact clinical supply chain activities.
The Clinical Supply Chain Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and cultures.
- Proven experience in clinical supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end clinical supply chain activities for global clinical trials.
- Familiarity with clinical trial forecasting tools and clinical trial supply management systems.
- Fluent English and German
