Title: Commodity Buyer
Salary: $110-135k

Schedule: Hybrid (3x in the office)
Company Profile: A leading manufacturing company is looking to add a Commodity Buyer to their team. This person will be responsible for all purchasing activities for the marketing category as well as generate cost savings projects and presenting to stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
The Commodity Buyer will be Responsible for the Following:
- Engage in strategic purchasing operations across various marketing categories.
- Spearhead cost-saving initiatives while effectively negotiating contracts at regional/global levels.
- Leverage advanced negotiation skills managing expenditures upwards of $30 million annually either directly or through functional leadership.
- Optimize supplier selection process by scouting potential partners using total ownership costs criteria along with rigorous supplier strategies development.
The Commodity Buyer Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven track record spanning 7-10 years within Procurement or Supply Chain management
