Position Overview: The Corporate Project Engineer will manage and support the installation and integration of processing and packaging equipment across four facilities. This role focuses on project management, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage capital projects from conceptual design through startup, including cost estimating, specifications, design, PID review, and timeline management.
- Direct contractors of all trades, work with OEM technicians, and collaborate with plant personnel.
- Oversee installation, I/O checkout, startup, and plant acceptance.
- Design and specify OEM equipment, automation panels, and hardware.
- Provide direction and support for PLC ladder logic programming and HMI applications.
- Offer technical mentorship and direction for other engineers, maintenance, and operations personnel.
- Work closely with the Corporate Controls and Automation group to support all projects requiring automation, network integration, and controls work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects.
- Preferred experience in the installation and startup of process and/or packaging equipment.
- Ability to utilize Rockwell software for commissioning ladder logic programming.
- Required experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Preferred experience with Wonderware, Archestra System Platform, and/or MES.
