We are currently looking for a Country Manager for a logistics service provider that is launching its branch in Saudi Arabia. As the Country Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the company's operations within Saudi Arabia. This includes strategic planning, business development, client relationship management, and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong industry knowledge and a passion for leading high-performance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies that align with the company's global objectives and regional market dynamics.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficiency in warehouse management, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Saudi Arabian team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand the company's market presence.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and revenue generation, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Customer Focus: Maintain and enhance strong relationships with key clients, delivering tailored logistics solutions and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies, while managing potential risks effectively.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and generate reports to assess business performance and guide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in external meetings, industry events, and government interactions to build strategic alliances and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills; exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and the Middle Eastern market.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and supply chain management tools.
- Cultural Awareness: Knowledge of local business customs and practices to navigate and build strong business relationships.
