Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
Manage all functions of the facility, from production and supply chain to quality assurance and logistics.
Create and implement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. - Production Coordination:
Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining excellent product quality and adhering to safety standards.
Continuously refine manufacturing workflows to boost efficiency, cut costs, and improve the quality of output. - Supply Chain & Inventory Control:
Partner with other teams to guarantee that materials are available and inventory records are accurate, ensuring smooth production operations. - Team Leadership & Growth:
Guide and nurture a high-performing operations team, promoting a culture of constant improvement and accountability.
Regularly assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for skill development. - Financial Planning & Management:
Work closely with leadership to create and monitor budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and costs are controlled.
Track financial outcomes and make adjustments to meet business targets. - Regulatory Compliance & Workplace Safety:
Ensure that all operations comply with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Foster a culture of safety by implementing training programs and enforcing safety protocols. - Process Enhancement:
Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce waste, and optimize productivity.
Utilize methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement in workflows.
Key Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in operations management, ideally in a manufacturing environment related to personal care or cosmetics.
- Previous experience managing a production site is essential.
- Strong skills in leading teams, managing projects, and communicating effectively.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, strategic thinking, and making informed decisions.
- In-depth experience with compliance standards, improving operational processes, and applying best practices for continuous growth.
- A comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and inventory systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and order management software.
- Solid grasp of budget oversight and financial reporting.
- A deep understanding of industry-specific regulatory standards is a key asset.
