Job Title: Director of Operations
Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality in all processes. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives to support our organizational goals and maintain our competitive edge in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, supply chain management, and maintenance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, customers, and suppliers to align operational activities with business goals and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
