Position Summary:
The EHS Administrator will support the development, implementation, and management of environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS protocols and best practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Support sustainability initiatives and promote environmentally responsible practices.
- Assist in emergency response planning and coordination of drills.
- Engage with external regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
