What You Will Do:
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to complete engineering tasks while adhering to established engineering and design standards.
- Provide technical leadership and support to teams in drafting, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, installation, and customer service, particularly in troubleshooting equipment.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address product cost, quality, and delivery concerns through product development and corrective actions.
- Offer phone and on-site support for equipment installation and start-up, collaborating with customer service and project management teams.
- Conduct research and development activities to improve standard products and introduce new products to the market.
- Drive improvements in processes and procedures to enhance the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of engineering tasks.
- Lead or participate in technical reviews throughout all project phases, from proposal through to production release.
- Perform analysis of air flow, heating, lighting, and mechanical systems.
- Design complex control systems that integrate hardware and software, including HMI and PLC programming.
- Travel to job sites for equipment start-up and commissioning.
- Propose design concepts that comply with NFPA, UL, and NEC code requirements.
What You Have to Offer:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field with 3-8 years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Engineering with 0-6 years of experience, or an Associate degree with 10-15 years of experience.
