A renowned company focused on providing engineering solutions to their chemical and petrochemical clients is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Florida site! This company has been committed to ensuring they deliver services and products to their customers for over two decades. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of electrical power and distribution systems, encompassing equipment specifications, system studies, schematics, wiring diagrams, and compliance with project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
- Conduct calculations, power system analyses, and equipment/material specifications to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate and manage engineering activities from conception to completion.
- Oversee detailed electrical system design for projects.
- Assign and supervise staff for projects.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Provide technical support to engineering staff.
- Review and approve final discipline documents.
Ideal Experience of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
- Proficiency in front-end engineering including feasibility studies, conceptual design, and frontend engineering design (FEED) packages.
- Hands-on experience in project execution, including detailed design and equipment selection (Allen Bradley experience preferred).
- Background in operations, encompassing capacity upgrades, troubleshooting, and facility engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Track record of developing and managing engineering reports and calculations.
Qualifications of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
