Summary of the Electrical Engineer:
A global food and beverage company is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team! This organization is known for its innovation and commitment to sustainability, continually working to develop new products and solutions to meet customer demands and industry trends. As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for the maintenance and operation of their electrical and power distribution systems. The Electrical Engineer will also collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with safety standards and drive continuous improvement solutions. The Electrical Engineer role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and reliability operations of the plant.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
- Manage and coordinate the annual MV preventative maintenance program.
- Monitor key performance variables in the electrical distribution system and implement tactical countermeasures to address risks.
- Develop and execute strategic capital plans, ensuring delivery within cost and timeline expectations.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for electrical and power distribution systems.
- Maintain technical documentation for the power distribution system, including design data and historical performance data.
- Drive continuous improvement in electrical system reliability through PMO cycle and root cause analysis.
- Partner with site electrical maintenance contractors to maintain high standards of trade skill and execution capability.
- Provide electrical design development, evaluation, and implementation support for project engineers and maintenance teams.
- Manage Arc Flash Safety program and electrical/instrumentation PM documentation.
- Ensure application of best-in-class technologies and techniques in electrical systems control.
Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - related experience will be considered without a Bachelor's
- 7-10 years of experience in industrial power distribution.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills to identify and resolve root causes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of project delivery.
- PMP and/or CMRP certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of steam turbine generators is a plus.
