Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standards and procedures for all business aspects.
- Assist in preparing and managing expense budgets, including energy utilization, for effective fiscal control.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (OSHA, environmental, etc.) and coordinate with the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for necessary training and reporting.
- Implement training and procedures to improve operational consistency and effectiveness.
- Plan and execute improvements for production and distribution facilities, including equipment modifications and process changes.
- Develop regulatory compliance and reporting processes, and implement facility permit requirements.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders, set goals and priorities, and manage interactions with outside entities, including hospital facilities management. Maintain an emergency response plan.
- Support the operation and maintenance of water and sewer systems, including purchasing and technical support.
- Maintain regular contact with client representatives on technical and financial matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably mechanical or electrical engineering) with training in boiler operations and supervisory skills.
- Extensive experience in energy systems operations.
- Strong business and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate operations, set goals, and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others, direct, and train.
- Familiarity with energy systems.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and plant control applications.
