Summary:
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the production equipment and facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently. The ideal Facilities Manager will be detail focused with technical background in manufacturing processes.
The Facilities Manager should have the following skill set:
- Bachelors Degree (BS) - in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 10+ years experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting required
- Experience working in a metal casting facility highly preferred
- Prior experience with Capex, Project Management
- 5+ years heavy manufacturing experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the org
The Facilities Manager will:
- Ensure the production equipment and facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently
- Manage and support the capital expenditure program
- Assist with government regulatory inspections
- Communicates with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work
- Monitors performance of maintenance activities including machine uptime, downtime, cost, reliability
- Identifies areas for improvement/implements solutions
- Establishes/controls maintenance budgets, including requests for capital expenditure
- Provides oversight for Plant Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) Program
