Summary:
The Global Quality Management Business Partner will lead and oversee the activities necessary to achieve the company's desired level of excellence. This role focuses on long-term goals through the implementation of short-term initiatives, strengthening quality assurance, quality control, and the quality management system. The client, a multinational company providing innovative solutions for the paint industry, relies on this key role to gain a competitive advantage and operate more effectively than industry peers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the global quality management system and strategy in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Establish and monitor global quality objectives, metrics, and indicators, reporting on product quality, process quality, customer claims, and costs of quality.
- Lead and coordinate the global quality team in a decentralised organisation, consisting of regional and site quality managers, and continuous improvement specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Drive and coordinate external certifications for all sites (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
- Manage and facilitate internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely and effective resolution of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior management, business units, and cross-functional teams to identify and address quality risks and opportunities, promoting quality culture and awareness throughout the organisation.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures for process and supplier validation.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in quality management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Establish a central Quality Assurance function to continuously improve QC methodologies and tools through central coordination and the identification/implementation of best practices for QC processes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
- Knowledge in chemistry, process technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with significant experience in quality management, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
- Proven track record of leading and managing quality systems and teams, delivering quality results and improvements.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of quality standards and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
- Strong theoretical understanding of sustainability, energy, and environmental aspects with experience in an industrial environment.
- Excellent command of English.

Location and Travel:
- Based in Dusseldorf
