Job Summary: Our client, a global leader in the energy transition, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of safety and leading initiatives to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide HSE training and support to employees at all levels.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, including key metrics and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE management role.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence others.
- Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
