We have a current opportunity for a Industrial Engineer (Pelican Rapids) on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage significant industrial engineering projects, including new methods, plant layouts, equipment installations, capacity analysis, and manpower planning. This includes developing and implementing labor standards, ergonomic improvements, productivity enhancements, and constructing standard labor costs.
- Utilize in-depth product knowledge and strong problem-solving skills to drive improvements in efficiency and production capabilities, aiming to maximize profitability.
- Provide strategic solutions to plant operations teams related to equipment layouts and plant capacity optimization.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an Industrial Engineer.
- Strong initiative and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Solid understanding of the DMAIC process and its application for continuous improvement.
- U.S. Citizenship, National status, permanent residency, or authorization to work in the U.S.
