Role Overview & Main Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, you will be the lead contact for our regional and local key accounts, responsible for managing and nurturing the overall relationship with these clients.
- Lead negotiations and oversee client contracts and ongoing relationships
- Serve as the primary escalation point for any problems that can arise
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the accounts assigned
- Oversee the onboarding process post-contract and handle post-project reviews
- Stay in close communication with key customer stakeholders and procurement teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the logistics or shipping sector, with a focus on sales, negotiations, or field sales
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and solutions-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Deep knowledge of shipping, with a commercial and cross-functional outlook
- Proficiency in both English and German (German is a MUST - please do not apply if you do not have at least B2 German)
