Lead Process Engineer
A leading food & beverage organization is hiring for a Lead Process Engineer in Idaho. The role will provide technical support for manufacturing operations and capital projects, particularly in dairy and non-dairy processing!
Key Responsibilities
- Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in processing.
- Equipment Development: Design and develop processing equipment.
- Documentation: Update and modify technical drawings.
- Project Involvement: Participate in all project phases, from planning to start-up.
- Guidance: Support plant operations and project managers.
- Collaboration: Work with R&D, Quality, Sales & Marketing, and suppliers.
- Project Management: Manage specific projects as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in a similar role, with food and beverage industry experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SEEQ, CAPE or TOPS, and AutoCAD; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of project life cycles, processing equipment, and general processing technologies.
- Environment: Ability to work in challenging environments with heavy equipment.
