The Logistics Manager will be responsible for:
- Logistics Strategy: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet company objectives.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, including forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing excess inventory.
- Transportation Coordination: Coordinate transportation activities, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight negotiations.
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and other external partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining strict inventory accuracy.
- System Implementation: Implement and maintain systems and procedures for tracking and reporting key logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics management, and recommend process improvements and technology solutions as appropriate.
The Logistics Manager should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in logistics management, with a strong track record of optimizing supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
