Maintenance Manager Required for Leading Food and Beverage Manufacturing Firm

Job Summary:
A leading food and beverage manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a large team in one of their most profitable facilities. The Manager will be tasked with maintaining continuous improvement and regulatory programs including Arc Flash, LOTO, Confined Space, and Process Safety Management (PSM).
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the productivity of their team while providing coaching and trainings to maximize each individual's potential. While reporting to the Plant Manager, they will be tasked with overseeing maintenance on 5+ production lines as well as all plant utilities and warehousing.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:
- Improving preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability
- Direct and develop a variety of capital projects with the Plant Engineer and Leadership team
- Initiate continuous improvement actions with water/energy conservation, solid waste reduction, and plant sustainability
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by creating and teaching educational workshops and reviewing professional maintenance reports
- Managing 4 direct reports along with 20+ technicians over 5+ production lines
- Understanding how to close gaps identified in Maintenance and training processes to drive maintenance to become less tactical and more strategic
- Coordinate activities related to shift starts and changes
- Track, trend, and report on established KPI's
- Drive culture of engagement though High Performance Work Team
The Maintenance Manager will have the following skillset:
- Leadership skills in a plant maintenance environment
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Experience working in a food/beverage manufacturing environment
- Bottling experience a plus
- 5+ years hands on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience implementing and working with Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies
- Knowledge and experience with project planning tools
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- Familiarity with relevant LEAN principles such as 5s, TPM, etc.
- Time management skills
