Maintenance Manager
DSJ Global is partnered with a top food and beverage company to hire a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, functionality, and safety of our Concord, NC facility, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general systems. This role will be instrumental in the buildout of a new facility, ensuring a deep understanding of its operations for effective long-term maintenance. Additionally, this position will serve as the primary onsite contact for a tenant renting space within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily facility maintenance, repairs, and operations.
- Manage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Play a key role in the buildout phase, working with contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct inspections, address safety concerns, and coordinate maintenance with vendors.
- Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, including scheduling and task delegation.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenant inquiries and facility-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, develop preventive maintenance plans, and manage budgets.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies (EPA, wastewater, fire authorities, etc.).
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in facilities management or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, motors, pumps, and general building systems.
- Experience with facility buildout projects and construction phases.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Experience supervising maintenance teams and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong project management skills.
Preferred:
- Certifications in facilities management or maintenance-related fields.
- Experience managing tenant relationships.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D modeling.
- Background in liquid production, GMP, or sanitary environments.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fields.
