DSJ Global is currently partnered with a industry leading Paper & Pulp manufacture seeking to add a dynamic Maintenance Planner to their fast growing team at one of their Flagship facilities on the East Coast.
Job Overview:
The Maintenance Planner will be a vital part of our team, responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, managing the CMMS, and ensuring that our manufacturing equipment operates at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance planning and a strong understanding of CMMS systems, with a preference for those who have experience in the paper and pulp sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Task Management: Plan and allocate maintenance tasks based on priority and resource availability to ensure timely and effective completion.
- CMMS Optimization: Oversee the CMMS, ensuring it is fully optimized for operational efficiency. Manage data accuracy, work order tracking, and system reporting to drive continuous improvements.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage maintenance schedules in coordination with production teams to minimize operational disruptions.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and materials, for maintenance activities. Monitor inventory and manage procurement of necessary parts.
- Process Enhancement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of previous Maintenance Planner is required. Experience within the paper and pulp industry is preferred but not essential.
Education: Relevant technical degree or certification in maintenance management or a related field is a plus.
