Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, piping, and other process equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and control systems as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals for troubleshooting and repair.
Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Document maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory usage in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Support emergency and on-call maintenance needs to minimize production disruptions.
Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and reliability teams to optimize plant performance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing, industrial, or process plant environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and confined space entry.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and be on-call as needed.
