Responsibilities:
- Focus on continuous improvement by understanding facility processes and products
- Evaluate processes and products to recommend improvements in quality, productivity, safety, and costs
- Identify process variations and establish a continuous improvement monitoring system
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for process and operation improvements
- Conduct experimental process tests, summarize results with detailed reporting
- Monitor adherence to manufacturing specifications and procedures
- Provide technical advice and interpretation to ensure quality production
- Advise supervisors and department managers on deviations from manufacturing specifications
- Assist in relief of production supervision and related duties as needed
- Maintain and update quality programs (ISO, Six Sigma)
