A global Chemical Manufacturing company who is a leading water-soluble polymer manufacturer, is on the lookout for a Process Engineer II. The company serves municipal water treatment facilities and the manufacturing, mining, oil, natural gas, personal care and agricultural industries.
Responsibilities:
- The Process/Project Engineer II will be responsible for ensuring that their assigned projects are being completed on time and on budget
- These projects will range from minor facility maintenance projects to leading $2.5MM capital improvement projects
- Troubleshoot DCS and PLC issues and create control narrative for process changes
- Develop equipment specifications and become knowledgeable on the equipment necessary for each project
- Create and maintain project documents (scope of works, budgets, vendor documents)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3-8 years of related experience in engineering design of chemical plants or working as an engineer in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience working in a RMP and PSM environment
- Working knowledge of PHA, HAZOP, and MOCs
- Practical understanding of electro-mechanical systems including pneumatics and automated control systems
