A global leader in the European in the renewables sector are looking for Procurement Excellence Manager - Tools to join their team in Germany. In this role, you will own, develop, and maintain key tools and systems critical to our procurement function's success. As the subject matter expert on SAP, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of SAP S4Hana, ensuring a seamless integration and optimal utilization of the system. This is a unique opportunity to shape and enhance our procurement processes as we continue to evolve and mature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement tools and systems with a strong focus on SAP/SAP S4Hana.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S4Hana, providing guidance and support throughout the implementation process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of procurement tools into the broader business landscape.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize existing systems, driving continuous improvement across the procurement function.
- Support the global procurement team by providing training, troubleshooting, and ongoing system management.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and tools, ensuring the procurement function remains at the forefront of industry trends.
- Work autonomously to deliver results, while effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Travel as necessary to various office locations across Germany or globally to support project needs.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a procurement, with a strong emphasis on tools and systems management.
- Deep expertise in SAP, specifically SAP S4Hana, with a proven track record of successful implementation and management.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
- Strong knowledge of various procurement tools and systems, with the ability to adapt and grow as the function matures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support business requirements.
