Job Description
As the Production Manager, you will oversee all operational activities and the outcomes of the Night Shift.
The Production Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and you will work closely with key business partners across Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, and Quality Engineering to achieve the plant's performance objectives
Job Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor your team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and financial objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through by establishing standardized processes and enhancing employee engagement.
- Take full responsibility for team leadership, staff development, project management, investment planning, and long-term strategic direction.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate a knowledge-sharing culture, establishing strong networks and fostering trust within the team and across departments.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry
- 5 years in a manager position.
- Knowledge of automotive production processes
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success
- Cross-functional leadership.
- Proven track record in leading and motivating teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring project completion.
