As our next Project Engineering Manager, your mission will be pivotal as you guide teams through complex initiatives from inception to completion. You'll not only influence project outcomes but also shape processes that drive efficiency across operations.
We require:
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing engineering projects.
- Technical proficiency related to Industrial Automation, Injection Moulding or similar fields.
- A track record showing successful oversight over multiple facets of production including both Metals and Plastics industries.
Your duties will involve:
- Involved in project engineering process includes 3D drawing, 3D model simulation, tools making, engineering sample making, plastic injection, die casting, electronic, spraying, pad printing, assembly and packaging.
- Working with other junior project engineers on the defining design specifications, packaging specification, quotation preparation (tooling and product) and schedule planning on 3D drawing, 3D model simulation, tool planning, engineering sample making, ISO document preparation and problem shooting before initial shipments were out
- Manage quotation approvals from HQ, set up schedules from tooling preparation, sampling with packaging and release BOM schedules
- Fully manage the structure design, materials selection during 3D drawing process
- Liaising with internal electronic engineering team
- Collaborate with internal teams in BOM, mould list, approved parts (mould parts and metal parts) drawing, inspection specifications, critical parts dimension control list, assembly fixture list, packaging instructions.
- Review 3D drawings, improve mechanical design standards by liaising with shareholders
- Trouble shooting prior to mould making process and any ad-hoc projects
