- Technical management of a software project team consisting of development and test/verification engineers
- Planning and distribution of tasks to the team/product owners
- Ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and promised content (internal, customer and authority) in the required quality
- Creating schedules and budget planning, collecting KPIs and representing the Liebherr software project internally and to customers / authorities
- Conducting change management boards and customer reviews/audits
- Preparation and responsibility for planning and approval documents according to RTCA DO-178C
- Interface to the system, electronics and simulator construction departments (in cooperation with test coordinators and component managers)
- Coordination of the approach to project-specific topics with the process manager, management, quality assurance representatives and/or test coordinator(s)
- Development of software for embedded systems for aerospace applications according to RTCA DO-178C
Contribute strengths: your qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar qualification
- Proven experience with software development of complex systems and software tools (requirement, design and coding tools)
- Experience with model-based development methods and tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
- Knowledge and basic knowledge of software verification
- Experience in software development in aerospace (RTCA DO-178C) or similar domains (e.g. medical, automotive)
- Ability to lead development teams (classic and agile methods)
- Very good knowledge of German and English,
