Regional Quality Continuous Improvement Sr. Manager
Locations: Greater Asheville, NC or Dixon, IL
Position Overview: Our client, a global leader in the production of self-adhesive label materials, is currently searching for a Regional Senior Manager, Quality & Continuous Improvement in the Greater Asheville, NC area or Dixon, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management and process improvement within the paper, packaging, or CPG industries. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization. They will be responsible for overseeing the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide teams to uphold high-quality standards and foster a robust food safety culture, working closely with factory management and quality teams.
- Collaborate with Technical Support and factories to enhance customer claim handling services.
- Ensure quality control processes are effective and consistent globally.
- Meet the requirements of management system policies, targets, and standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, and management reviews, and improve management systems globally in partnership with other regions.
- Support regional distribution terminals and ensure best practices in quality and food safety are implemented.
- Manage any widespread quality or food safety issues, ensuring readiness for potential food safety recalls or crisis management situations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within food & beverage, paper, packaging, or CPG industries.
- Prefer for experience with coating or product development in pressure sensitive labelling industry
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification
