An industry leading aerospace component manufacture is looking to hire a Senior Engineering Manager to their growing team. The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for approximately 70 people across Product Engineering, Technical Tooling, and Metrology teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product yield improvements, cost reduction, and scrap reduction efforts while ensuring the manufacturing process meets customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead product yield improvement, cost reduction, and scrap reduction initiatives.
- Oversee product tool/part design and set engineering standards.
- Manage engineering budgets and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
- Proven ability to drive manufacturing improvements and cost reduction.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team development.
