Role Outline: In this senior position, you will be responsible for steering high-value accounts, with a primary focus on Courier Express Parcel (CEP) services within the pharmaceutical sector. You will oversee a range of logistics solutions, including full truckload (FTL) services, as well as air and ocean freight operations. Your role will involve managing client expectations, ensuring service excellence, and driving strategic growth through strong commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with key clients, focusing on the pharmaceutical sector. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Account Management: Drive strategic growth by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and developing tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Logistics Expertise: Leverage your expertise in CEP logistics, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector, to ensure compliance with industry standards and the safe transport of medical products.
- Freight Operations: Oversee land, air, and ocean freight operations, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple carriers and providing end-to-end cargo movement services.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that foster long-term business relationships and achieve revenue targets.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the handling of sensitive pharmaceutical products.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse account performance, making data-driven decisions to optimise service delivery and achieve client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven background in Courier Express Parcel (CEP) logistics, particularly in a commercial capacity.
- Extensive experience within the pharmaceutical logistics sector, with a strong understanding of compliance standards for the transport of medical products.
- Demonstrated expertise in road freight operations, contributing to operational success through effective land transportation solutions.
- Valuable experience overseeing international shipments via air and sea, enhancing your logistical versatility.
