Senior Process Engineer
Location: Central New Jersey
Summary:
Senior Process Engineer needed to join a leading Chemical Manufacturing Company in central NJ. You will be responsible for developing solutions to problems that arise at the site as well as leading continuous improvement teams for the major products. As the Senior Process Engineer, you will also direct projects and ensure their success in accordance with budget and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement relating to chemical manufacturing processes
- Implement new methods for manufacturing cost reduction
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical personnel
- Responsible for daily troubleshooting and providing process engineering guidance to other teams in the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and Master's encouraged
- 7+ years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Hazardous or specialty chemicals experience
- Strong understanding of P&IDs
