Title: Senior Procurement Manager
Introduction:
Are you a seasoned procurement professional with knowledge in raw materials and animal nutrition? Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company specialising in sustainable solutions for the global Resins & Coatings, Engineered Fluids, Advanced Materials and Animal Nutrition markets is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Procurement Manager. As their new team member based out of the Netherlands office, you will be responsible for managing direct procurement activities while ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic sourcing plans that optimise costs without compromising on product quality
- Oversee supplier selection process by conducting vendor assessments and evaluations
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers while maintaining positive relationships
- Manage inventory levels to ensure continuous supply chain operations
- Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiation strategies
Experience/Skills required:
* At least 5 year's experience working within Direct Procurement preferably within chemicals industry
* Good understanding of Raw Material Sourcing Processes.
* Strong analytic skills coupled with excellent communication abilities both written/verbal are essential.
* Proficient user of MS Office applications particularly Excel.
