The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for various projects, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs procurement activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborates with project managers to develop procurement strategies and plans
- Identifies potential suppliers and evaluates their capabilities and performance
- Negotiates contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Monitors supplier performance and takes corrective action when necessary
- Manages procurement budgets and ensures cost savings are achieved
- Maintains accurate records of procurement activities and provides regular reports to management
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in procurement within an industrial setting
- Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
- Familiarity with DSJ Global
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in German and English
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with SAP or other procurement software
- Knowledge of international procurement regulations and standards
- Experience in project management
