A leading food production company is seeking an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at their state-of-the-art facility. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals to ensure all manufacturing processes are completed safely and efficiently.
The ideal Sr. Manufacturing Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead all production activities and ensure compliance with industry and company standards
- Utilize LEAN manufacturing techniques / principles to drive continuous improvement within the facility
- Direct facility managers and supervisors in daily production operations
- Monitor product quality
- Monitor performance of manufacturing team
- Oversee manufacturing budget and department spending
- Collaborate with department leaders as necessary
- Manage and train employees
The ideal Sr. Manufacturing Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- 6-10 years' experience within food manufacturing industry
- Leadership / Management experience required
- Working knowledge of USDA / FDA Regulations
- LEAN / Six Sigma Certifications a plus
- HACCP certifications a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
