Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing procurement team with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's mission and growth objectives.
- Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
- Negotiate and manage contracts that support the company's commitment to child safety.
- Collaborate closely with product development and quality assurance teams to integrate safety features seamlessly.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging safety technologies.
- Champion best practices in procurement, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- At least 8-10 years of Procurement experience
- Proven leadership experience in procurement, at least 5-6 years.
- Strong knowledge of the energy/renewable/electrical commodities and detailed technical understanding
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across cross-functional teams.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English, at least working proficiency in German. Any other language is a bonus.
