Job Summary: Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, overseeing the 3PL operations and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Design, implement, and manage supply chain strategies that support business goals and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and minimize excess inventory and stockouts.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and vendor management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
