Company Summary: A market leader in Food Production is seeking a highly motivated an experienced Supply Chain Director to join their team in Brussels. The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of products from source to customer. You will play an integral role in driving our company's growth and success in the Business Unit.
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, distribution, logistics, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure a reliable and efficient supply network.
- Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead the S&OP process, aligning demand and supply plans, and ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement within the supply chain.
The Supply Chain Director should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in supply chain leadership roles
- Background in Food production is desirable but not essential
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Fluency in English, Dutch and French
