We are seeking a skilled and proactive Supply Chain Manager to join our team, supporting automotive clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with manufacturing facilities based in Asia. This role involves managing seamless logistics and supply chain processes, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods from factories to customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production teams to align supply and demand, ensuring accurate planning and forecasting.
- Manage inbound shipments from Asian production sites to our third-party logistics (3PL) partners, ensuring smooth customs processing, repacking, and handling.
- Coordinate and monitor 3PL activities, securing resources for all stages of inventory management, from inbound to outbound.
- Oversee stock levels in European hubs to maintain optimal inventory and meet customer demands.
- Work closely with suppliers on planning and scheduling, adjusting production and delivery to adapt to customer needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between our 3PL warehouses and customers to provide shipment updates and address any logistical issues.
- Collaborate with account managers on new customer requirements, driving process enhancements to improve service delivery.
- Establish and monitor relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and other supply chain partners.
- Implement process improvements within the logistics and warehousing functions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and track KPIs with service providers to ensure high standards.
- Partner with sales teams to support new customer requirements, optimising processes to meet evolving demands.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in automotive logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven ability to handle complex supply and demand operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong SAP skills and familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
