Our client is a leading company in the steel manufacturing industry and is looking to fill a critical management role. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in supply chain management, skilled in strategic sourcing, and excellent at fostering collaboration and managing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage demand planning, supply planning, scheduling, materials management, and inventory forecasting
Develop and align sourcing strategies and supplier networks
Maintain optimal stocking levels and oversee material movements
Continuously improve departmental processes and procedures
Manage supplier relationships and ensure data accuracy in ERP
Foster collaboration, manage inventory, and evaluate personnel performance
Lead and engage in work teams, ensuring safety, training, and motivation
Background Requirements:
5+ years of experience in supply chain management
2+ years of experience procuring steel
Strong background in supply and demand planning
Past warehousing experience is a plus
