SUMMARY
We are a manufacturer and distributor of electro-mechanical equipment and systems used for a variety of highly regulated industries. We're seeking an experienced and highly analytical Supply Chain Manager to oversee inventory planning, procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations for our US business. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain processes, optimizing inventory levels, and managing vendor relationships to support business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional looking to take on full ownership of our company's NA Supply Chain process in a dynamic and growing organization with some global responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee purchasing activities.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a steady supply flow.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations, including on-time delivery and quality metrics.
- Oversee cost-saving initiatives by identifying process improvements and alternative suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in procurement activities.
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee order fulfillment, transportation, and global freight operations (sea and air).
- Ensure on-time delivery and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with freight forwarders and distribution centers to streamline operations.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Develop and enforce inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and analyze stock movements.
- Support warehouse operations to ensure proper workflow, storage, and distribution.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and fulfillment issues.
Supply & Demand Planning
- Develop and implement inventory optimization and demand forecasting strategies.
- Utilize ERP systems to enhance supply chain efficiency and inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive effective sales and operations planning.
Process Optimization & Reporting
- Utilize data analytics tools to generate reports and improve decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company compliance standards.
- Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies to manage supply chain disruptions.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to optimize supply chain processes while minimizing waste.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain, procurement, or logistics within an electromechanical product manufacturing space
- Proficiency in ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience managing international supply chain operations, including freight and vendor negotiations.
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
