A leading insurance organization is looking for a skilled Vendor Management & Systems Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for vendor relationship management, contract negotiations, maintaining accurate records, and proactive maintenance of vendor systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, updating them as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis and audits for service contracts.
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and serve as the main contact.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
- Evaluate and negotiate cost-effective agreements, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the Source-to-Pay (S2P) system, ensuring efficient operation and resolving issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and maintain documentation.
- Provide training and support on S2P system functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain vendor-related guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance vendor management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in vendor management
- Process oriented and highly organized
- Strong procurement system administration skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
