Position Summary:
The Vice President of Manufacturing will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in food or chemical manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
The VP of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing operations several manufacturing plants across North America. This includes everything from production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain management.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Assess the organization's capital requirements and collaborate with plant teams to determine the most strategic and efficient allocation of capital resources.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including food safety, health, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to support product launches and business growth.
The VP of Manufacturing should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the food or chemical manufacturing industries.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
