We are looking for an experienced and visionary National Airfreight Product Head to join our leadership board and drive the strategic direction of our airfreight division.
About the Role:
As the National Airfreight Product Head, you will play a critical role in driving the growth, development, and innovation of our airfreight product offerings in Denmark. This is a senior leadership position that combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You will be responsible for shaping the future of our airfreight services, ensuring our offerings are aligned with market demands and business objectives, and maintaining our competitive edge in the rapidly evolving logistics landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the airfreight department and collaborate with the leadership board to define and execute the company's airfreight strategy.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of national airfreight solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Drive profitability and performance by identifying opportunities for operational improvement, cost control, and new revenue streams.
- Champion innovation and digitalization efforts within the airfreight division, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to expand business opportunities and strengthen our service offering.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to keep the product portfolio competitive and aligned with market requirements.
About You:
- Proven track record in airfreight management, with at least 8-10 years of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of airfreight operations, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- A results-driven approach with a keen focus on efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Danish & English, both spoken and written (additional languages a plus).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
