Role : Senior Buyer (m/f/d) - Switzerland
Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a passion for procurement? Our client is a well-established international hospitality group with a reputation for excellence, operating some of the most distinguished hotels and resorts worldwide. They are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee purchasing operations at one of their premier properties in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Source and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with department heads to forecast procurement needs.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of food, beverages, operating supplies, and capital expenditures.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance.
- Uphold company standards for ethical sourcing, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier management, and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
