On behalf of our client, an engineering consultancy specialising in life sciences and their expanding operations in Switzerland, we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer (DeltaV) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to enhance existing processes.
- Independently planning and executing internal automation projects related to building technology, production systems, and infrastructure.
- Developing technical specifications for DeltaV system programming and contributing to the creation and optimisation of DeltaV recipes.
- Conducting testing and commissioning of automation systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Driving continuous improvement of technical infrastructure, particularly in electrical and automation areas, while supporting the adoption of new standards and technologies.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with DeltaV and automation projects.
- Strong programming expertise in DeltaV, Simatic S5/S7, SIS.
- Proven experience with IEC 61131, control systems, or SCADA; knowledge of EMSRT equipment is an asset.
- Previous experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate within a team.
- Language skills: Fluent German is required; French is an advantage.
