A leading supply chain execution software provider is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to drive commercial strategy and execution. This role involves leading sales, sales engineering, sales enablement, and business development efforts to ensure disciplined commercial growth. The CCO will work closely with the marketing team and align commercial initiatives with the company's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities for the Chief Commercial Officer:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth, expand market share, and drive profitability.
- Manage high-value deals from inception to close, ensuring seamless deal flow and strong client relationships.
- Lead global sales teams, fostering a performance-driven culture and promoting strategic sales processes.
- Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Ensure rigorous planning, forecasting, and pipeline management for predictable results.
- Foster long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and delivering aligned solutions.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to create cohesive strategies.
- Stay informed of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry changes to adjust strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team of fifty (50), promoting continuous learning and growth.
Requirements of the Chief Commercial Officer:
- Proven track record of leading and scaling commercial teams in a high-growth B2B software environment.
- Strong ability to close complex deals and manage executive-level customer relationships.
- Success in balancing strategic vision with practical, results-oriented execution.
- Deep understanding of commercial discipline, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain software industries is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to use metrics and analytics for decision-making.
- Domestic and global travel up to or exceeding 50% will be required.
