Position Summary: We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented EHS Administrator to support our environmental, health, and safety programs. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing EHS policies, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position is crucial in fostering a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with EHS regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance checklists.
- Coordinate and schedule EHS training sessions for employees, ensuring all staff are informed of safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations related to EHS performance metrics and compliance status.
- Monitor regulatory changes and updates, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote EHS initiatives and provide support for safety-related projects.
- Serve as a point of contact for EHS inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EHS management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or equivalent are a plus.
