Job Overview:
As the Global Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading our global procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services across our international operations. Key Responsibilities:
Global Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global procurement strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and oversee global supplier performance and compliance.
Strategic Sourcing: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier development, to achieve cost savings and supply chain optimization.
Category Management: Manage procurement activities for specific categories within the FMCG sector, developing and implementing category strategies.
Cost Optimization: Continuously identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, negotiations, and supplier collaborations.
Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and manage global procurement contracts to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and favorable terms and conditions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, logistics, and operations teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier performance on a global scale.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure global procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and manage risks associated with international procurement operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of global procurement experience within the FMCG industry, with a track record of successful supplier management and cost optimization.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, particularly in an international context.
- Proficiency in global procurement software and tools.
